Da Vinci’s has changed a bit since our early days as the Pizza Parlour! Pietro Macari was always going to follow in his father’s footsteps. The Macari family came originally from Montattico, a small town (in the province of Frosinone) in Italy. Saverio ‘Sammy’ Macari came to Ireland some 40 years ago and started in the catering business.
Testing the water with the Pizza Parlour proved to be an inspired decision. Soon, he was drawing up plans for the restaurant we know and love today.
Pietro married Sabrina in 1998. Sabrina has brought her own unique blend to da Vinci’s and of course, their own children are a testament to the wonderful family-friendly atmosphere for which da Vinci’s is famous.
Here’s a quick snapshot of our facilities.
